Southampton boss Nigel Adkins hailed his side’s battling qualities after they came from 2-0 down to snatch a point against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
But Adkins also felt his side had followed their sbo instructions almost to the letter in securing an unlikely draw.
“We came here with a gameplan,” he said. “Obviously Chelsea are a good side and if you give sbo ทางเข้า them space they’re going to hurt you.
“So we came here to put a block in and to try to intercept and then go on and counter-attack.
“The two goals we conceded – we could sbo ทางเข้า have cleared sbo ทางเข้า them a little bit better in the penalty area and the one just before half time could sbo ทางเข้า have been a big sucker punch.
“But it sbo ทางเข้า was great character from the players – to come out in the second half and stick to that gameplan – and great impact (from the substitutes) coming off the bench and to go and claw two goals back.”
It took substitute Rickie Lambert less than three minutes to score the goal that sparked the visitor’s comeback but Adkins sbo ทางเข้า was unapologetic about leaving his top-scorer on the bench.
“We came with a gameplan,” Adkins insisted. “To use the pace of Jay Rodriguez on the counter-attack and then look for the impact when Rickie Lambert comes on – and impact sbo ทางเข้า was what it sbo ทางเข้า was all about.
“He (Lambert) sbo ทางเข้า was fresh for those final 35 minutes of the game and he’s come on and scored a vital goal.”

SBO ทางเข้า : Benitez: We must be ruthless

Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez admits his team needs to be more ruthless after seeing them held to a 2-2 draw by Southampton.
The Blues were cruising 2-0 at half-time, with Demba Ba scoring in his first Premier League start sbo ทางเข้า and Eden Hazard adding a second, with the Saints all at sea.
The introduction of Rickie Lambert proved pivotal, with Southampton’s talisman equalising before Jason Puncheon levelled it up to earn the visitors a superb point – while Chelsea were booed off.
Chelsea have won just one of their sbo last seven home games in the Premier League sbo ทางเข้า and Benitez says they have to finish teams off when they are dominant.
Benitez told Sky Sports News: “We have to be more clinical. At 2-0 up you have to manage the game. We have to have some experience, score the third goal sbo ทางเข้า and kill the game but we didn’t do that.”
“We had chances, we had a lot of chances again. Taking our chances has to be the key.
“We are in the top three so we will try to be as high as possible sbo ทางเข้า and try to get three points in the next game – that’s it.
“I said we would have to be more clinical sbo ทางเข้า and today was the same. We had situations where we could score. We didn’t sbo ทางเข้า and they broke on a counter-attack. We gave them hope they could score sbo ทางเข้า and they did it.
“I was talking to the team at half-time, trying to say ‘we have to score a third goal’.
“I think for us we cannot be happy drawing at home. I am disappointed. When you know your players sbo ทางเข้า and what they can do it is disappointing.
“We have to think how we can improve for the next one.”

Leeds manager Neil Warnock saw his side knock Birmingham out of the FA Cup and then dismissed rumours that Luciano Becchio was watching Wigan’s sbo ทางเข้า win at Bournemouth.
The Argentine striker has been linked sbo ทางเข้า with a January move to a Premier League club after scoring 19 goals for Leeds this season.
Speculation increased when Becchio missed the 2-1 sbo ทางเข้า win over Birmingham in their third-round replay, but Warnock insisted he was left out due to illness.
“I’ve heard the rumours but I think he has texted Shaun Harvey (Leeds chief executive) to say he is at home,” said Warnock. “So he’s obviously heard the rumours.
“We lost Becchio this morning, he came off training on Monday and said sbo he felt sick. And then the doc said he was sick in the night so he didn’t travel.”
Warnock also confirmed he was not aware of any bids for Becchio, but when asked if he wanted to stay at Elland Road, he added: “We’ll see. I can’t tell you anything other than that.
“I spoke to the owners and in due course we’ll probably speak about that.”
Leeds trailed at half-time at St Andrew’s but hit back after the break as goals from Ross McCormack and El-Hadji Diouf booked a home tie sbo ทางเข้า with Tottenham.
The team had come under heavy fire follo sbo ทางเข้า wing their weekend drubbing by Barnsley, and Warnock added: “We showed character and I’m really proud of them.
“They’re the best type of results when everyone writes you off. They gave everything in the second half. Everyone contributed.
“It’s a great tie in the next round – Leeds v Tottenham, it whets the appetite.”

SBO ทางเข้า : Bruce relieved to pip Orient

Hull City manager Steve Bruce could barely hide his relief sbo ทางเข้า after his side scraped into the fourth round of the FA Cup sbo ทางเข้า after an extra-time win over Leyton Orient.
The League One side were just a minute from earning a fourth-round tie with Barnsley before Dean Cox’s fortuitous equaliser forced the extra half-hour.
sbo ทางเข้า and with a penalty shoot-out looming, Tom Cairney struck the winner in the 117th minute to snatch victory.
“All credit to Orient, they have given us two really difficult games sbo ทางเข้า and if we’re honest we could be out of the cup. But we’re not,” said Bruce.
“We had some good chances to put the game to bed, but when it’s just 1-0 you are always on edge sbo ทางเข้า and they’ve scored with the last kick, really, to take it to extra time. sbo ทางเข้า and then it’s anybody’s game.
“You hope a little bit of quality comes through in the end but fair play to Orient, they took us to two really hard cup ties sbo ทางเข้า and on another day could have gone through.”
But Bruce also revealed that midfielder Sone Aluko sbo faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines with an Achilles injury.
“Sone Aluko looks to have a slight tear to his Achilles, sbo ทางเข้า and could be out for around six weeks,” the Tigers boss added.

SBO ทางเข้า : Martinez proud of players

Wigan boss Roberto Martinez was proud of his much-changed team as they ended Bournemouth’s long unbeaten run.
Mauro Boselli’s 18th minute goal was enough to settle the contest at Dean Court sbo ทางเข้า and book the Premier League club a fourth round date with non-league Macclesfield.
But Martinez, who only named Emmerson Boyce sbo ทางเข้า and Maynor Figueroa from the team who drew with Fulham at the weekend, knew his players had to work hard to end sbo Bournemouth’s 18-game unbeaten run under Eddie Howe.
“It was a very difficult game as we expected,” he said.
“We know that Bournemouth have been unbeaten sbo ทางเข้า and it doesn’t matter at what level you do that at because you have got a very strong unit.
“I must admit Bournemouth deserve huge, huge credit over the two games in the manner they play football sbo ทางเข้า and I think it is going to bring real success to this football club.
“We knew that we had nothing to win today sbo ทางเข้า and had to be very professional; really, really strong sbo ทางเข้า and I couldn’t be more proud of my players. When you make nine changes, it is not easy.”
When asked if he was taking a chance by naming an inexperienced side, Martinez said: “No, it is not a risk. A risk would be not to give the opportunity to youngsters.”
